Vanity Table

This little dressing table would be so sweet in a young girl’s room. It’s a marriage between three separate pieces we had in the booth.

This project was an easy one. Do you remember this mirror I showed you in an earlier post? It was one I found at a yard sale. I took it into the booth and put it on display. I had an idea one day to take this and two other pieces that were in the booth and put them all together.

I had just one chair like this and it was smaller than most chairs. The table was a yard sale purchase that I fell in love with when I saw it.

I wish I could have left them the way they were but none of the pieces were anywhere near alike in color or finish.

Ron had to make a couple little adjustments to the table and the mirror so that they could be attached together. He cut the top to be even with the wood underneath so he could attach the uprights to hold the mirror in place.

Once that was done, all that was left was painting them all to match.

Wouldn’t this be cute in a little girls room with a cushion on the seat and all her bottles and nail polish sitting on it.

I think you could do this with any framed mirror and a table wide enough to hold the mirror. It’s an easy project.

  12. Too cute. Your post reminds me I have an old wicker vanity in my shed out back. Years ago, my husband found it on the street. We cleaned it, sprayed it w/numerous coats of white gloss paint and I decoupaged butterflies and glued on silk flowers. It’s been so many years, it’s junk again, but I’m inspired by you to drag it out and start all over!
