I have to admit that today I about froze while junking. We found a yard sale in January. Most we’ve been to while it’s been cold has been inside. Not today, this one was in the garage and sprawled out onto the driveway. The poor woman had a heater right in front of her. We had fun though, and we found some things that we’ve already taken to the booth.
These looked like tapestries. They’re not, they’re very nice pictures of tapestries. I probably wouldn’t have gotten them if I had realized it. But they look pretty hanging on the wall. Someone will love them.
I love how this oil lamp base has been converted to an electric lamp. It looks old, but I don’t think it is.
Stars are still popular. This star looks blue, but it’s more of a bronze color.
These are cute. My daughter loves birdhouses. I have a feeling I’ll be telling her to take them.
These are bronze banks with advertising on them. I brought them home from the booth so I could clean them up. I can hardly read the inscriptions.
I just liked the looks of this pitcher. It’s heavy though it looks delicate.
I used to have one of these cabinets. It’s a handy piece if you don’t have much storage.
Considering it was so cold and that there were so few sales to find, I think we did really good. If we can just find a few new things every week for the booth, our customers notice. They keep coming back to see what’s new.
Great finds on a cold day! Love the bird houses.
Cold here also. I would think it would be pretty rough having a yardsale in this weather. I need to take garbage out and check for mail, and I really dread getting out. Looks like we will be getting snow starting tomorrow.
Enjoy your weekend.
You are so tough to brave this cold! Sarah and I tried to go door to door selling cookies, but only made it to a handful of houses. My face was numb when we made it home!
Love those birdhouses!!!!
